Meet Hal

Dr. Halle Sauer is a highly skilled and passionate physical therapist dedicated to optimizing human movement and performance. With a comprehensive educational background and a deep-rooted love for endurance sports, she brings a unique perspective to her practice.

A graduate of the University at Buffalo, Halle earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a Masters of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in community health and health behavior. Her academic journey laid a solid foundation for her career in physical therapy and fitness.

Beyond her advanced degrees, Halle is a certified personal trainer through NASM and holds SFMA Level 1 and 2 certifications. Currently, she is deepening her expertise in pelvic floor health through training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. All culminates into a comprehensive healthcare provider capable of addressing a wide range of complex (and often interrelated) musculoskeletal and pelvic health concerns.

Halle's clinical focus is on endurance athletics, pelvic floor dysfunction, and general orthopedic conditions. Her own experiences as a dedicated athlete (currently training for and competing in half ironman and ironman distance triathlons), coupled with her extensive knowledge of physical therapy, enable her to provide unparalleled care to individuals seeking to overcome injuries, enhance performance, and optimize their overall well-being.

In addition to her clinical practice, Halle is committed to empowering the community through fitness and wellness. She is a multidisciplinary fitness instructor, teaching pilates, running, strength, and recovery classes. Her dedication to sharing her passion for movement extends to her involvement in community-based initiatives such as the Buffalo Run Club and the Shickluna Women's Devo Project.

When she's not immersed in her professional or athletic pursuits, Halle enjoys spending quality time with her rockstar athlete dog, Daphne. Together, they embark on adventures that balance her active lifestyle with moments of relaxation and rejuvenation.
